Oops, sorry :-) I had my CTRL key down already when I pressed enter (for doing CTRL+V to paste the line), and apparently CTRL+enter sends the message :-s Anyway, this line: Linux uses the standard <CR> while M$ uses <CR><LF>. I think a lot of people will agree that it's not done to make your opinion about Linux vs. Windows (and not MS, and not at all M$) so clear. "M$" expresses hate for this company, and I find that inappropriate, especially for a multi-platform targeted professional application. No I do not work for MS, but I DO love their products, and think they do a lot of unbelievable stuff for developers.
By the way, "Linux" is an OS, "MS" is a company, so I think the line should read "Linux" and "Windows". ----- Original Message ----- From: Davide Libenzi To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, February 16, 2004 1:14 AM Subject: [xmail] Re: This is not professional On Mon, 16 Feb 2004, Orion Productions wrote: > While reading the docs, I stumbled accross this line in the miscellaneous section: Where's the line? - Davide - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe xmail" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For general help: send the line "help" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe xmail" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For general help: send the line "help" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
