This probably won't help you but can't you just run the emails back through
the XMail spool?

That's what I thought you could do. Don't know how to do it though.

Subject: [xmail] Getting my facts correct.

Davide,
I have a user that deleted all their email - bad luck for him!
Now he has pleaded with me to recover his email - bad luck for me!

I have a filter running that copies the xmail spool file, then returns.
So I have a copy of the spool files both in and out. I have located his
email files out of that heap of spool files.

Here's the question: If I run econv on the files will I have .eml files that
he can import into his MUA?

OR if I am wrong, what other solutions are there?

I am running on w2k sp4 Xmail 1.17

Thanks, Rob :)
