Davide,
You should consider a dual install.  The best part is that with 
Mac-On-Linux, you can access Macintosh programs from within Linux, 
and it runs basically at native speeds (actually, it almost seems 
faster to me).  This is useful for those few non-Linux apps (Flash, 
Quicktime, games) which aren't readily available for PPC Linux.

Let us know (maybe off list) about your PPC Linux experiences. I've 
got a Powerbook G3 running Yellow Dog and it works like a charm, only 
I do miss Flash access from time to time.
