Thanks. The md5sum matches my file.

Another odd note. There are only 3 makefiles in the tarball - bsd, lnx, 
and sso. No plx, slx, or ssx, as I see in the 1.18 tarball. Those don't 
matter to me, I'm just trying to figure out why it won't compile.
