I'am currently studing about dspam on win32

At this time, I think it can be used from cygwin environment

For interfacing with xmail, there is an option in dspam to output to
'stdout' so a redirect of dspam output can go in a file
( dspam .......... >resultfile )

Not tested yet anything on win32

Not directly related to 'how to run dspam on win32' but on
dspam/spamassassin comparison :
I currently balance between dspam or spamassassin in our systems...
- Yes dspam is in C so 'faster' than spamassassin
But spamassassin can be used with spamc/spamd to reduce some time to =
process
messages

- Most Important thing :
Dspam, without any learning (or initial corpus of spam/no spam messages =
to
inject in the database) will not detect any spam (or a little). dspam
doesn't have any predefined 'rules', it is only statistical engine
Spamassassin can detect spam without any initial learn from defined =
rules
and several services like razor/pozor/dcc...

At this time, spammassassin is winner in term of 'ready to detect spam =
at
install'
But dspam is better in statistical detection than spamassassin as dspam =
can
use multiple statistical modes simultaneously
So in a pure database mode (with a 'as big as you can' initial corpus =
of
spam/no spam samples) dspam is better than spamassassin in term of %
detected and false-positives
