Perhabs a different way in outlook 2002 to handle reply-to field ... Specifically RFC2076 "Common Internet Message Headers" reports that the =
use of Reply-To: is "controversial", that is, "The meaning and usage of = this header is controversial, meaning that different implementors have=20 chosen to implement the header in different ways. Because of this, such = headers should be handled with caution and understanding of the = different=20 possible interpretations." (RFC2076, page 4) So don't be sure this works with any mua ... Don't know why outlook 2000 work fine with it and 2002 not ... a bug ? = an selectable option (due to security enhancements) ? Did you try to upgrade to last outlook 2002 service pack to see if it = solve this problem ? (don't find any think from google for this problem with outlook 2002 ... even at Microsoft KB) Francis > -----Message d'origine----- > De : Spyros Tsiolis [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Envoy=E9 : mardi 16 novembre 2004 18:26 > =C0 : [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Objet : [xmail] Weird "UseReplyTo" behaviour >=20 >=20 > Hello people, >=20 > I have a nagging issue with a mailing list I setup to just=20 > receive e-mails. > This means that there is a Mailing list account on the given=20 > domain named > "info" that "drops" messages to a couple of real xmail accounts. >=20 > When the real account receives the message, when replying, it should > reply to the sender and not the "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" account. >=20 > The weird part is that I am handling a couple of domains (three to be > exact).
