why is it that when my WAN internet connection goes down I cant send emails
to my local xmail server and they sit in the queue till the internet comes
back up?
I have xmail running ona win2k system and also in the dns records on the
machine I have my domain setup in there. When I am at a local workstation I
can ping mydoman.com
C:\>ping mydomain.com
Pinging mydomain.com [192.168.1.13] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 192.168.1.13: bytes=32 time<10ms TTL=128
Reply from 192.168.1.13: bytes=32 time<10ms TTL=128
Reply from 192.168.1.13: bytes=32 time<10ms TTL=128
Reply from 192.168.1.13: bytes=32 time<10ms TTL=128
and it will come back with the ip of the Server that is running xmail.
In outlook I have it set to use mydomain.com.
I dont know why I cant send an email and if it cant relay it onto the net,
then it should hold it in a queue till the connection comes back up.
Instead I get:

Any ideas?
