Microsoft's Sender ID I think is pretty much dead in the water as it sits, but there are implementations of SPF written in Perl and Python on the XMail page. But, if I remember correctly SPF got pushed aside until a few of the bigwigs come up with a common "standard."
Both are rather pointless in my opinion because they only prove where a message comes from. Spammers can (and have) create SPF records for themselves. Just because you can use Sender ID / SPF to prove where a message comes from, doesn't mean it's not spam. -Mike ----- Original Message ----- From: "Wim Verveen" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, June 06, 2005 11:13 AM Subject: [xmail] senderid > Maybe this has been asked before.
