XMail's sendmail is a local drop-in utility that only works in a machine
where XMail is running. It is *not* a complete replacement of sendmail
(thanks god). If you want to send mail from a machine where XMail is not
running, you have to use the *real* sendmail and configure the XMail box
as smarthost.
