I just got done deploying it - it's VERY straightforward, and the results
have been nothing short of spectacular. We now deliver less than 10% of the
SPAM that used to get through.

Put the files into a single dir. I made one called glst, and put it in
mailroot.

On Windows, don't worry about the database for glst. It takes care of the
creation and management of the database. it will be in the same dir as the
glist.exe. (Make sure the folder has appropriate write permissions) Its
important that you create a regular AT (scheduled) job to run the database
cleanup periodically. The glist instructions describe the glist.exe switch
you need to use pretty well.

Look at the file filters.pre.data.tab, and make required edits so that the
data in there is correct for your system.
"!aex"<tab>"X:/path to glist folder/glst"<tab> "--mfile" "@@FILE"
in order to be recognized, the filters.pre.data.tab must be in mailroot dir.

glst.conf stays in the glist folder, but should be customized as you see
fit. See the documentation for explanations of settings.
Here is our conf file. Thanks to at least three other folks on this list
for sharing much of these settings, and making our work much easier.

Hope this helps!

Tony
