I am using the SpamC post-data filter, written by Dario Jakopec: XSpamCPd http://www.henry.it/xmail/xspamcpd/index.html
It worked quite good with the old spamassassin 3.0.3. However, it no longer seems to work with recent spamassassin versions :-( (now running SA 3.1.1) It gives a "ERROR - Remote protocol error" in the log files. Did anyone else here have the same experience? If it can't be fixed, do you have a suggestion for a good or even better alternative? I think it's best that a spam filter works at the post data step, no? That way you can reject the message at the smtp session level. Also, as we have to deal with massive amounts of spam lately, any suggestions and recommendations of how to improve the spam fighting are certainly welcome!!!
