I have the same problem. I only have one account to sync every 30
minutes but it fails 90% of the time. The funny thing is, checking the
account manually by using telnet *always* works, 100%. Also, I get
better results when I force-check the account by placing a
..psync-trigger in the MailRoot directory.

Maybe this helps somehow.
