Interesting, it does start now. Haven't tested any functions yet but it
does not crash the way it did.

Maybe there is a problem reading the registry on a 64 bit machine?

Can you try to pass the MAIL_ROOT directly in the command line?

C:> XMail --debug -Md -Ms MAIL_ROOT ...

MAIL_ROOT =3D XMail root directory
.....       =3D Other args you may want to pass
