I use FProt for Windows on my XMail server and haven't experienced those
problems. The AVFilter of course is the one I wrote.

Subject: [xmail] Fprot false alarms?

Anyone using fprot with xmail?

My main server has given a couple of empty messages that a virus has=20
been found but no details and that was last week but it crashed last=20
week then earlier today.

Today my test server al;so crashed after uptime of 200+ days and on=20
restart I find multiple instances of XMail then see spool file is=20
full of (179174 of them) messages: Subject: Identified virus! all=20
dated from Dec 1.

The message flagged as infected is itself a message: Subject:=20
Identified virus!

I hope this is a false alarm.

Anyone seen similar problem?

David
