Strange response from 'good' server !?!? The dns query returned a " status: SERVFAIL" ...
With this sort of response, this 'good' xmail server cannot send to it = but you say it can !?!? So it can because xmail seems to have at this time a previous 'good' = cached dns response ... Can you perform more digs on this 'good' machine to see if you get some 'good' response ? And more dig tests on 'bad' server too ?
