I did all that Davide but the server doesn't crash with the debug executable..!?

Lets try: $ setenv XMAIL_DEBUG 1 $ setenv OSTYPE FreeBSD $ gmake -f Makefile.bsd Then run XMail from inside a shell: $ ulimit -c 20000 $ XMail --debug -Md ... This should generate a core file. Then: $ gdb -c PATH-TO-CORE PATH-TO-XMAIL >From inside GDB: > bt full Send that over, and do not delete the core file and the XMail binary.
