Yes (but not 'extracted' from the "Received:" headers, it comes from =
MAIL
FROM: smtp command sent by the sender mta to xmail, then xmail use it =
for
spam-address check and later to generate it's own 'Received:' header)

Yes

xmail only check that MAIL FROM value matchs or not an entry in =
spam-address
But remember that spam-address can content wildcard entries (like =
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
or [EMAIL PROTECTED]) so 'exactly' is not allways true ;-)

spam-address is a very simple way to 'filter', imoo Davide will not
complicate it as "You can do like u want with a filter" :)
