> The third release candidate of xmame-0.62.1 is available. You can grab
Well, I tried the OpenStep 4.2 port of this (not yet managed to work on the OSX version). It builds flawlessly and runs fine with raster games. I still have the 32bpp problem with any games that have artwork though, and I also have the "half screen, all blue" problem with battlezone (and other vector games) Could the two prolems be related ? Is it possile that the Mame core is generating 32bpp even though the driver requested 16bpp ? That might explain the half screen (and the fact its always in blue). I assume this release was supposed to work with the video drivers unchanged, but how would I set about adding 32bpp support into the video driver if I wanted to (which might not be a good idea as it would mask this bug possibly, but...) ? I though the core unformly generated all bitmaps in 16bpp these days ? -bat. _______________________________________________ Xmame mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://toybox.twisted.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/xmame
