I'll attempt that. But one more question though, I have a Windows OS also on the same machine (dual boot) and KI runs at 100% in Windows. So it is capable of doing so.
What the hell? Something must be wrong with your xmame config, cause 3 FPS under xmame vs. full speed under windows mame... hell, I get much better performances under linux.
What is your graphics card? What xmame target did you use? If it's x11, what display method did you use?
