[Xmame] Weird compile problems

Hi! I'm trying to compile xmame 0.82.1 on Solaris 9 (using the Sun Forte 
compiler for SPARC) . Everything seems to work well until it reaches the 
file stactics.c it just hangs during the compile process. It seems some 
compiler bug is triggered or something odd like that.

Anyone have any ideas?
