OK, I understand. As for Fedora Core packages, I've been building some (Red Hat Linux and Yellow Dog Linux) for quite a while now, available on http://freshrpms.net/ along with gxmame. The "merging" of multiple display drivers in a single target is a real blessing package-wise, many thanks for that ;-) But for installing a package with OpenGL support, while not having OpenGL installed... well, this has always been possible if what you mean is "not having hardware OpenGL acceleration available" as the OpenGL libraries (Mesa, freeglut) are shipped with all recent rpm-based distributions I can think of, including Fedora Core. If anyone's interested, I've built a CVS snapshot which includes only the x11 target, but with XV, OpenGL and Glide3 support built in. It works great for me : http://ftp.freshrpms.net/pub/freshrpms/fedora/linux/testing/2/ BTW, will the SDL target also get "merged", or is it too different in many aspects to make that possible?
