The encrypted games don't work if you use the assembler 68k core, you have
to use the C core. No idea if this is the cause of the problem you describe.
Confirmed here: With X86_ASM_68000 enabled in the makefile, astorm just gives me a blank screen; with that line commented out, it works fine.
