So far noone has come forward with a copy of Xmame 0.28, but regardless I have sent a copy of every Xmame version I have from v0.27.1 forward to Lawrence. Lawrence, you should see those on Tuesday or Wednesday next week. Thank you to everyone who sent me missing versions - it is very difficult to find files from pre-2000, and there is no way I would have found those files without help.

Best regards,
MF

Subject: [Xmame] Only *1* Historic Version Still Missing!
Date: Tue, 09 Aug 2005 17:09:18 +0000

Good morning,

I've been working to create an archive of historic Xmame sources. In response to my last post, Bram Sluymers contributed 5 of the missing archives from my list, plus two intermediate patch levels I wasn't aware of. Now there is just one left!

If anyone has Xmame v0.28, or a diff against v0.27.1 or v0.29.1, please forward them on to me. These files were published in September 1997, and may be included on old Linux CDs (in tar or SRPM format), MAME CDs, backup tapes, or an obscure computer sitting in the closet. I will forward everything I have to Lawrence Gold when he adds the historic versions to the Xmame home page, and I am looking into other methods of making the files available as well.

0.28 (or diff against v0.27.1 or v.0.29.1)

MF
