This week I tried to access Salesforce with XML ::Compile. Actually it was quite easy. There are various basic demonstrations on the web, for example this one with SoapUI: http://blog.deadlypenguin.com/blog/2012/02/03/salesforce-and-soapui/ Salesforce gives examples of different calls here, which is quite useful: http://wiki.developerforce.com/page/Sample_SOAP_Messages In attachment a tiny script to do a simple login - operation - logoff.
