As an implementor what do you think ? My take is that the c14n spec and the code need fixing, but I would not go forward without your input,
Please don't change the code now. Yes, xml:id breaks c14n, but changing the code of one implementation now would be a worse break.
No need to rush but it's a problem,
We all need to see what kind of solution comes out.
