Then I searched you library and found the xmlSaveFileEnc() or xmlSaveToFilename() functions where the encoding can be passed as a parameter. But none of these functions seem to work for me. Maybe I should add that I'm working on Windows and use the Delphi/Pascal version of libxml2. Any other tips on how to force the right encoding? BTW: another question but related to this topic Is there any way to force a "Save data to file" - function/procedure to add a UTF-8 BOM sequence to be added at the beginning of the file?
