This is a basic sha256 checksum. The easiest would be to use 
sha256sum(1), for which you can:

a) run «sha256sum dieter-svgs-2016-03-02.tar.bz2» and verify that the 
output is identical to what I provided


b) run «sha256sum -c filename» with filename being a file containing 
that line (attaching one for your convenience).
