TO: XML-EDI List We have seen several requests sent to the entire list over the past few days for removal from the list. As many responses to those messages have noted, the quickest, easiest, and most effective way to remove is to follow the instructions given at the end of each message. We also sent out detailed instructions when the list switched over to DISA and you will find those instructions given below. For those who requested removal and still find themselves receiving messages, you may have enrolled with a different address or have the mail forwarded from another address. Here is the excerpt from the instructions for that situation: <excerpt> If you receive a message saying you are not a member but you are still getting messages, you could be subscribed as a different email address. Check for the "X-ListMember:" clause in the header of the message. It will have the form: X-ListMember: [[EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED]] which means that this message was from the list called [EMAIL PROTECTED] and was sent to the email address "[EMAIL PROTECTED]". You can now leave the list by sending the message: -------------------------------------------------------------- From: Lesley Fisher <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: <not needed> leave [EMAIL PROTECTED] </excerpt> If that scenario does not apply to you or you find it still does not work, please send your removal request to [EMAIL PROTECTED] . We will remove your name manually. I can tell you the slowest and least effective way of removing yourself from the list, and that is to send the message to the entire list. While we check the list here periodically, you will more likely get the desired action by sending your request to [EMAIL PROTECTED] that goes to a real person. Many thanks and best regards.
