Hi,
the SMDG Group decided to set up a special working group regarding ebXML
development during its last meeting in April in Salerno, Italy. The working
group will focus on following the results of the ebXML initiative and based
on these eventually develop dtd's for maritime transports. The ISIS European
XML/EDI project included a pilot from Finland, namely the port operator of
Helsinki, Finnsteve and Finnsteve has now developed together with us the DTD
and XSL definition for the container gate in/out report (the CODECO EDIFACT
message). The gate report is now in production and the DTD bases on using
the BSR terms but will be converted to a ebXML DTD as soon as the core
components are available. So far there was no discussion on the BAPLIE
message. For those interested in following the progress of this SMDG working
group, the group has its own website, http://www.edimanagement.com/sebxml
(the server is unfortunately down today, but back in the air tomorrow)
best regards,
Eija Aspelin
