Bill,

"list of lists" has been and continues to be "managed" by the Internet and
especially it's newsgroups for a great long time now, resulting in list
servers that handle/recurse list servers, major domos etc.. So many goooood
people have done such good work, IMHO, it isn't likely to be "bested" nor
ought be attempted as a new inception.

Point being, that good work, (what do we do in the software biz? we garner
our boon by outputing a) copy.

Perhaps a good "senior research", especially in "HISTORY; INFORMATION
SCIENCE; INTERNET; MAILERS" could encapsulate the "methods" that have risen
to the top and then rush to publication in time for it to be incorporated in
some "XML/EDI-Global-2000"/whatever. (Perhaps it should be "INFORMATION
SCIENCE; STANDARDIZATION; REUSE; PATTERN RECOGNITION; HISTORY" or something").

A "Grand Central" repository of repositories, where to look first, second and
third, may emerge, via "bot" concepts.

Regards,

Jim Cunningham
