Acord recently started a large commercial working group
to define the XML standards for the insurance industry. I am
cc'ing this message to Beth Grossman. Beth is leading this group
for Acord.
The Joint Venture (JV) Reinsurance Industry Group has recently
completed version 1 of their "Business Message Specification".
This specification is an XML specification to facilitate
communication between commercial reinsurance trading partners.
This XML specification is based on the JV Edifact specification.
