I am cc'ing this message to Beth Grossman. Beth is leading this group for Acord. The Joint Venture (JV) Reinsurance Industry Group has recently completed version 1 of their "Business Message Specification". This specification is an XML specification to facilitate communication between commercial reinsurance trading partners. This XML specification is based on the JV Edifact specification. You can find information about Acord's XML efforts at: http://www.acord.org/xml_frame.htm Hope this helps.
