S.DHARIA asked ...

One of our customer in the UK is initiating the use of Tradacom standard,
which we have to implement and develop the mapping for different transactions.
How different is this from EDIFACT or X12 as far as the ISA, GS and so forth
!!!!.

Tradacoms is a standard which has been used extensively within
the UK retail sector for some years. The structure of the messages
is quite different from both EDIFACT and X12.

Your customer should be able to provide you with a copy of the Tradacoms
standards for all relevant messages.

E-centre (the UK arm of EAN) is responsible for the Tradacoms standards.
Their web-site is www.e-centre.org.uk

Hope this helps
