Well, I'm not sure if it's right. Correct is, that USA use a total different
format for EDI then most other countries. In USA the ANSI X.12 format is the
most used. Special in Europe the EDIFACT format is the standard one.

Unfortunately EDIFACT is very complex and there are a lot of subsets from
different organisations, industries,...

XML is much easier, but many big companies in Europe (and I think in USA
too) still have big EDI systems and this ones not allways can handle XML
formats. So it's important to have good EDI/XML converter.

PS.
We have translations of our software (m-e-c eagle: JAVA/XML B2B integration
software) to 6 languages (German, English, France, Russian, ...). Maybe
someone like to do some translation to other languages???
