>From Convergence to Consolidation - What's Next in the Information Market?
A conference organized by the IST Diffuse Project, 7th March 2001, Brussels
The first Diffuse Conference, organized as part of the Information Society
Technologies (IST) initiative of the European Commission, will explore
developments in digital content dissemination in an environment evolving
from convergence to consolidation, and consider how these changes will
influence future standardization initiatives. The conference, details of
which are attached, will deal with the issues raised by the converging
market place from the perspective of those who need to develop, implement,
and use products and services based on standards and specifications.
