About three in 10 plants (31%) accept orders online About two in 10 plants (19%) provide online support About one in 10 plants (11%) receive payments online A third of the plants (34%) place orders online About one in 10 (9%) plants makes online payments Less than one in 10 plants (7%) engages in online bidding Among those plants accepting electronic orders, about two-thirds (67%) of respondents reported using EDI as the main technology, compared to 5% for Internet services. Among those plants making e-purchases, two-thirds (65%) reported using EDI as the main technology, compared with 14% for Internet services.
