This position provides technical guidance to various XML affiliate initiatives administered by DISA and serves as a resource to committee chairs to facilitate their work in developing a successful, consistent approach and methodology for developing XML messaging architectures and Schemas. Candidates must have a bachelors degree in a technical or business discipline with a focus on structured document markup languages or the World Wide Web and be familiar with the current XML technology and practices to facilitate electronic commerce. A solid understanding of markup languages, and Web authoring and modeling software desired. Experience in process modeling, logical semantic organization, interchange transaction and data element identification and tagging, and requirements analysis skills a plus.
