How interesting...

As one of the co-chairs of ebXML Core Components, I find it curious that
this book would have been written without any contact with me. Or without
attendance at all of the ebXML Core Components meetings.

Maybe those of us who did attend the meetings should write a book?

Mary-Kay,

There's certainly a swathe of publishers right now all clamouring for
content.

Snag is when most of us write stuff it reads like my sons sixth grade
book reports!

Alan does have a knack for this stuff - and that's what makes this
all a team effort. I'm really surprised he did not get your input - Alan
is meticulous on his sources and research and making sure
he references the direct materials and specifications - I can only
surmise it was a time crunch thing - as these eBooks are alot
different to printed paper ones in the production cycles.

Alan's taking a well earned rest sunning himself in Costa Rica
right now - so our messages are just piling up in a cyberspace
'inbox' - while Alan is working on core components of a very
different kind - like how many Marguaritas to have before dinner?

Cheers!

DW.
