Title: RE: [Announcement] New article in WebServices.Org

This is a good analysis ...Alan.  I believe that the quoted article from Prentice-Hall displays the problem with most data interchange attempts .. and continues to make EDI stronger..."the use of business rules" and continued standardization strengthens the reliability of the date exchanged and reduces the necessity for specialized language interpretations between business partners.

Thank you for this additional insight ..

WebServices.Org has a new article of interest.

"Why doesn't EDI just die already?"  Web services and ebXML need to show
that they can outperform EDI. It won't be easy.
See http://www.webservices.org/index.php/article/articleview/447/1/1/ .
