At a recent conference I heard about the 'e-buiness MOU', a consortium between 1. The International Electrochemical Commission, 2. ISO 3. International Telecommunication Union 4. UN/ECE (http://www.itu.int/ITU-T/e-business/mou/index.html) (http://www.oasis-open.org/presentations/mouorlando.ppt) Can anyone shed some light on how the ebxml work on business processes is related to that of the 'e-business MOU'? Is one derived from the other? If not, aren't we again in danger of creating disparate standards? OASIS recently joined the 'e-business MOU' (http://b2b.ebizq.net/news/news026102.html).
