The XML translator is available as an add on. It has been available for over two years. As for the price, you should contact your sales rep. I know what others have paid but your mileage may differ. I have used it at several accounts. It works very well.

You can pre-load a map if you have a DTD. This saves a lot of time. If you don't have a DTD, there are sites that will create on from your sample XML document for free.

We purchased Gentran Server 2.1.1 for Win-NT in Feb'2001 and we did not get
the XML Translator for Gentran.

I would request if anybody can answer these questions:

-whether XML translator for Gentran was already available or added later
-Can I buy this separately & how much does it cost.
