Since TIFF is a binary file format and EDI and XML are ASCII text file
formats, no. However, you could use an product such as Templar that handles
MDNs (message disposition notification).

Subject: Is there any way to send TIFF format files and get automated
response?

FYI,
Is there any way to send TIFF format files and get automated response?
Are there any EDI/XML standards or formats, I could use to send TIFF
formatted files and get a functional acknowledgment sent back, like a 997.

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Thanks,
DCS
