We'll seriously think about doing this. > I also have created a customization file to pass parameters to > docb.toHTML.transformParameters, but somehow all customizations I attempt > result in no visible output... I'm sure we have no bugs related to this. As always, do not hesitate to send us your customization, so we can help you effectively. > One option I think would be nice to have is to leave open the dialog with all > xslt formatting messages even after the transform completes, so that the user > can check what is going on under the hood, if he wants to. Next to the status line, you'll find a button which can be used to display such logs. It is already available in the form of an add-on "DocBook 5 configuration". You are welcome to download and install it using Options|Install Add-ons. Note that this add-on coexists peacefully with the stock DocBook 4 configuration. The DocBook 5 standard is in its beta7, but does not look and feel unstable. (Neither is DocBook 5 support in XXE. It is just *slightly* less comfortable to use than DocBook 4 support.) > - docbook xslt provide support for source code highlighting via usage of > xslthl. Is this a planned extension of xxe? I would recommend to file a bug report to http://sourceforge.net/projects/docbook
