[1] Select the element *after* which you want to add a section or chapter. There are 101 ways to do so. The simplest way to do this is to click on the name of the element in the node path bar. [2] Use command "Insert After" (Edit menu or ``right-click'' to display the popup menu or Command-J), then select "section" or "chapter" from the list. If "section" or "chapter" are not available in the list, then it means that you cannot create a section/chapter here. For example, in DocBook, you cannot create a section between two paragraphs.
