No, we don't have a public beta-testing program for minor releases.

Yes. Unlike one of our competitors, we don't have a special ``DITA
Edition''. DITA support is contained in a configuration add-on similar
to other configuration add-ons.

Difficult to say, especially for the most important missing feature[*]:
lack of DITA processing. This, because we haven't really analyzed the
OpenToolkit (http://dita-ot.sourceforge.net/) yet. We *really* do not
intend to rewrite the XSLT style sheets, but we would like to replace
the ant tasks/Java[tm] glue by our own, ``native'', process commands.
