Right. We'll see how we can improve this.

We are pretty happy with Swing and do not intend to rewrite XXE using SWT:

* I didn't see that much improvements in terms of speed when I use SWT apps.

* SWT apps don't look that ``native'' (e.g. from the shape of the Tabs
in a TabbedPane you can tell that the application is written in SWT).

* Moreover, the L&F of native apps under Windows is not consistent (to
be positive ;-) , is evolving at a very fast pace) and heavily depends
on the ``native Windows GUI toolkit'' you are using. (By the way, have
you tried Office 2007 Beta 2? Weird? Gorgeous? Both?)

* Being fond of a L&F is really a matter of *personal* taste. For
example, I much prefer the Swing/Ocean Metal L&F on my Linux box than
SWT/GTK. OTOH, I find the Swing/Windows Classic/XP L&F pretty ugly and
SWT/Windows apps pretty good looking.
