The WebDAV and FTP virtual drive plug-ins (any virtual drive plug-in based on a network protocol, in fact) will refuse to *save* documents to remote locations. The Zip virtual drive plug-in (any virtual drive plug-in based on an archive format, in fact) is fully supported. > And is the a code example of one anywhere? The Javadoc is up to date. You can use the source code of file:, http:, ftp:, zip: virtual drive plug-ins as examples. A virtual drive plug-in is implemented by just 2 classes, one being 10-line long and purely declarative, the other being relatively short: ~500lines. > I could see this nice for developing some CMS integration. Please remember that free Standard Edition has a few legal restrictions too. See http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/license_std.html: --- In particular Licensee may not hook plugins of any kind for integration of the Software in an Information System or other organization-wide application. ---
