Thank you for answering. Just allow me a last note. Certainly you know it, but just in case... do you realize that be adding this and some better navigation among the chapters/sections, XXE could become *The* DocBook editor in the Free software world? I think there is an enormous vacuum here. I don't know of a single productive DocBook editor for serious documentations except ArborText Epic and maybe FrameMaker, and those are both far too expensive for most of these projects.
