Just opening a document by typing its URL always works because in such case you don't use WebDAV at all: you use plain HTTP GET. > Is this a problem anyone has > reported before? Yes, many times and, for now, this never meant a bug in XXE. > FWIW, they've gotten Oxygen and XMLSpy to work without > a problem. May be they know how to use Oxygen and XMLSpy and they don't know to use XXE. In XXE, you need to type the URL of a WebDAV-enabled directory. Example: on my machine, http://lupo/ is not WebDAV enabled: I cannot browse the '/' directory. On the same machine/same HTTP server, http://lupo/davd/ is a WebDAV enabled and I can browse the '/davd/' directory. --> Please send me account information on your WebDAV server and I'll debug the problem ASAP. (Otherwise, I simply cannot help you.)
