Does this error occur just for your existing docbook documents, or for *all* DocBook documents (e.g. <XXE_folder>/doc/user/userguide.xml)? --> If this happens just for your existing docbook documents, please send me (mailto:hussein at xmlmind.com) one of such documents. When Saxon says "failure reading file": it means: "cannot parse the XML file".
